Why Baltimore Bridgade Will Win ArenaBowl XXXI

The Baltimore Brigade fell one game short of ArenaBowl XXX last season, falling to the Philadelphia Soul in the semifinals. They made the postseason with a 4-10 record and a rookie quarterback. This time around, things are very different.

Baltimore has acquired a multitude of talent through the league’s free agency. A couple big-name free agents, to name a few, include quarterback Randy Hippeard, wide receivers Quentin Sims, Kendrick Ings and defensive back Joe Powell.

Hippeard won the AFL MVP award in 2017 with the Tampa Bay Storm. His former receiver Ings is also talented in the special teams. Powell has played with several AFL teams and has worked out with a couple NFL teams, as well.

Also returning will be head coach Omarr Smith. Smith took over last season after leading the Los Angeles KISS to the playoffs during the 2016 season. Baltimore kicks off the 2018 season by hosting the Washington Valor this Friday night at the Royal Farms Arena in Baltimore, MD.
