Lehigh Valley Steelhawks Handle High Country Grizzlies, 56-28

The High Country Grizzlies hosted the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks on Saturday night. The last time these two met, it came down to the final two seconds.

It wasn’t more of the same in this game. Three touchdown passes from Steelhawks quarterback Warren Smith had Lehigh Valley up 23-3 headed toward the end of the half. Two of those touchdown passes went to wide receiver Darius Prince.

Both teams would exchange scores in the final few seconds and Lehigh Valley would take a 29-10 lead into the locker room.

It was more of the same in the second half. Rodney Hall would intercept a Stephen Panasuk pass and returned it all the way for a touchdown to make the score 42-13 at the end of three.

High Country would just not be a match for Lehigh Valley in this one. The Steelhawks would go on to win by a final score of 56-28. Lehigh Valley will have a bye week next week. The Grizzlies will host the Columbus Lions.
