With the leadership of a former indoor football player, head coach Derrick Shepard will look to make the Dayton Wolfpack a contender in its first inaugural season. The team has decided to play all of its NAL opponents on the road for the entire season. Coach Shepard will need to keep his players fresh and well rested as road games tend to take toll on the traveling teams.
The Wolfpack will open the inaugural team and league season on March 19, facing the Lehigh Valley Steelhawks at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA. The Wolfpack roster has been filled with some experienced faces like former Tampa Bay Storm quarterback Jonathan bane and former Jacksonville Sharks wide receiver Tristan Purifoy.
Though the favorite to win the NAL inaugural season championship is the Jacksonville sharks, coach Shepard and the Wolfpack will try to derail the seven game jet lag and make the push to be NAL championship contenders.
