The Cleveland Gladiators are bringing back a fan favorite. Wide Receiver Collin Taylor is coming back. A player that many fans like so much, he is simply known as “CT”.
Taylor, 29, enters his seventh season in the Arena Football Leagu and his fourth with the Glads. Last season, Taylor lead the team in receptions (110), receiving yards (1,437) and in touchdowns (32). He also set the Gladiators franchise record for consecutive games with at least one touchdown, going 32 games strong.
Taylor was a driving force that has been a major part in guiding Cleveland to two conference title games in the last three seasons. For his efforts in 2016, Taylor was awarded the 2016 Al Lucas Hero Jason Foundation Award for his leadership on and off the field.
In his Gladiators career, Taylor has 3,010 receiving yards and 95 touchdowns. Taylor also took his talents overseas to the China Arena Football League where his Beijing Lions went 6-0 taking the title in the first ever China Bowl. During that season, Taylor put up 586 receiving yards, good for second best in the CAFL Taylor. He also added 12 scores.
With a solid defense returning and now the offense bringing back their best players, the Glads are looking pretty scary.
