The China Arena Football League playoff matchups have been set with one Super Series left to play. The Beijing Lions will play against the Qingdao Clipper in the first ever China Bowl at the Shanghai Oriental Center in Shanghai.
The Shanghai Skywalkers, a team most thought would be crowned CAFL Champions, will play against the Guangzhou Power in the game between the #3 and #4 seeds. In the last place game, the Shenzhen Naja will take on the winless Dalian Dragon Kings.
The inaugural season kicked off in Beijing back on Oct. 1. The Naja dominated the Dragon Kings, who they will play in the last place game, in Super Series I. The Power and Skywalkers met back in Super Series II. Shanghai went on to win the game by a final score of 45-32.
The Lions and Clipper met in Super Series III, both teams undefeated. The Lions, behind a 35-13 halftime lead, took down the Clipper to advance to 3-0. The Lions will look to go 4-0 as they face Guangzhou. If they win that game, they will be 5-0 going into China Bowl I. Qingdao will look to play spoiler at that point.
