The Lions will also have a former arena football quarterback in Chris Dieker. He played in the AFL until 2015. He will be competition with Luke Collis for the starting job. Collis is the backup quarterback to Dan Raudabaugh for the Soul.
The Lions will host Super Series I in the inaugural Chinese Arena Football League season. The season kicks off next Saturday, Oct. 1 and runs through the weekend of Nov. 12, when the CAFL hosts their first ever All-Star Game.
