The Los Angeles KISS have announced that they will be helping children in the Southern California area that are in need of help. LA will pay a visit to the Santa Ana Police Department on Sept. 7 at 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET) to deliver over 300 teddy bears. The SAPD will use their stuffed animals to comfort and distract children who are dealing with traumatic situations.
Generous fans donated those teddy bears on First Responders Night on July 11, when the KISS defeated the Tampa Bay Storm. The team held their first ever “Teddy Bear Toss,” which was one of many promotional events that the KISS sponsored throughout the season.
“Anytime we can give back to the community, it’s a huge honor, KISS CEO Joe Windham said. “Southern California has done so to support our team and we’re extremely fortunate to be able to have this opportunity to give back.” LA KISS players, office staff, and the dance team will join Windham on September 7 when the KISS donate the teddy bears to the Santa Ana Police Department.
