The Orlando Predators announced the signing of free agent defensive lineman Zach Anderson on Tuesday.
Anderson played collegiately in Northern Michigan, and was a three-time All-GLIAC selection. He earned first-team all-conference honors as a senior in 2012. Going undrafted upon graduation, he participated in the Cleveland Browns rookie minicamp.
Anderson signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League in May 2013, and has played the last three seasons for the club. He recorded 43 tackles and ten sacks while playing in the CFL.
Zach will join his younger brother Chad Anderson, also an Orlando lineman.
The top-ranked Predators (11-2) will travel to play the Portland Steel (1-11) this Saturday, July 9 at 10 p.m. ET. The game can be viewed live on the WatchESPN App.
