FOX NFL Analyst and four-time Super Bowl champion Matt Millen will coach the Wounded Warrior Amputee Football Team as they take on NFL Alumni in their annual flag football game. The game is hosted by the Philadelphia Soul as part of their Military Appreciation Night. This season, instead of the game being at the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, the game is going to be held at the PPL Center in Allentown, PA.
Soul co-owner Ron Jaworski will coach the NFL Alumni team. The Allentown Police Dept. and chief Keith Morris will serve as backups to the NFL alumni players.
The WWAFT’s goal is to raise awareness and support for all wounded warriors and their families. The players on the team are service members that wear prosthetic devices to help them with things they have to do every day.
Fans that buy tickets to the Soul game, which is against the Cleveland Gladiators, will be able to attend the WWAFT-NFL Alumni game. The NFL Alumni, the Soul and local celebrities that will also be in attendance to the game, will be signing autographs once both games have ended.
